PROJECT BRIEF

To design a future and present version of a hospitality robot, with a focus on the different types of materials, processes, and technology used.

REFERENCE ROBOT

The SAVIOKE’S RELAY is an autonomous delivery robot for the hospitality and service industries. Relay is an autonomous wheeled platform with sensors for navigating hotel floors and elevators, and delivering items to hotel guests.

MANUFACTURING PROCESSES

After choosing my final design, I go into rendering my robot and seeing how it would look when being created with different manufacturing methods. This helped me think about the types of materials I’d use and the design changes that would be necessary in order to create my robot.
